In my short few years of giving homilies, many times I do receive almost immediate feedback on my homily. But sometimes I wonder if I truly was an instrument of God and spoke his words, or if I got myself too involved in the homily. In either case, and as a reminder for me when listening to homilies given by others, these Three Hints on Getting More from the Homily are a good reminder to come prepared to get the most out of the homily.
